How to Use Natural Fragrance Oils | Adia Oils Guide
Share
Natural fragrance oils are more versatile than most people realize. Unlike alcohol-based perfumes and colognes that evaporate quickly, oil-based fragrances sit close to the skin and evolve throughout the day. Here's how to get the most from yours.
Apply to pulse points
Warm areas of the body — wrists, inner elbows and the base of the neck amplify scent naturally. Dab or roll a small amount onto these spots and then rub it in. After it is mostly absorbed, then you can rub it onto your clothing.
Layer for longevity
For all-day wear, apply to moisturized skin. Fragrance clings to hydration, so an unscented lotion applied first extends how long your scent lasts. You can also layer two complementary oils — try our Diamond Natural Fragrance Oil (clean, luminous musk) over Vanilla Musk Natural Fragrance Oil for a warm, enveloping base.
Use in your hair
A drop of fragrance oil on a hairbrush or the ends of your hair creates a subtle scent trail that lasts for hours.
Scent your space
Add 5–10 drops to an unscented candle wax, a diffuser, or a cotton ball tucked into a drawer. Our Sweet Patchouli Natural Fragrance Oil works beautifully as a room scent — earthy, grounding, and long-lasting.
